Ruby-spotted Swallowtail (Heraclides anchisiades)

Rare in the US in the Texas Lower Rio Grande Valley. Recent evidence suggests that this species is more appropriately placed in the genus Heraclides. It was formerly treated as Papilio anchisiades.
