Glossy Ibis(Plegadis falcinellus)
Uncommon along the NC coast and somewhat rare in winter. Note dull bill, gray facial skin, brown eye, and grayish-yellow legs, all of which distinguish this species from White-faced Ibis (very rare in NC but a few have been found in winter in recent years at Lake Mattamuskeet).
