Wood Thrush (Hylocichla mustelina)

Fairly common but declining, Wood Thrushes breed throughout eastern North America from southtern Canada to northern Florida in wooded habitats.

Note that head is richer rusty colored compared to the rest of the bird's upperparts. Also note the bold dark breast spots.
