Central Blue (Euphilotes centralis)

This taxon is distinct from Dotted Blue, Square-spotted Blue, and Rita Blue by a combination of host plant (Eriogonum jamesii), wide DFW borders and deep shade of dorsal blue on males, and narrow orange submarginal HW band, among other characters (Fisher, 2009, Butterflies of Colorado).
