Dorsal: ventral post median silver spots show through as oval pale orange spots
Ventral: greenish sheen; spots usually silvered and oval; narrow pale submarginal band

Steve K. suggests that this could be a Coronis Fritillary, but it's difficult to tell from photos. According to Steve, Coronis Fritillaries in Montana are rare west of the continental divide.
