Probably widespread and common in NC, especially in the coastal plain.

Note that this is *probably* an Atlantic Bluet, but I did not capture it and confirm via genitalia inspection, and Atlantic Blue and Familiar Bluet are not reliably separable in the field. Presence of a fairly strong blue bar between the eyespots is a suggestive, but not diagnostic, field mark for Atlantic Bluet.
