Common and widespread in the eastern US, the caterpillars feed on various herbaceous plants like clovers and wild lettuce.

Fairly common in much of eastern North America, these day-flying moths may be seen on various flowers. Caterpillars feed on Crotalaria and Lespedeza, among other species.
